"Paris? City of romance? City of lights? City of a language I don't understand?"
Blythe Baxter, To Paris With Zoe

Paris is the capital of France. Blythe had the opportunity to take Zoe there for a dog show in To Paris With Zoe.

It has many beautiful sites such as the art museum Louvre, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe.

Zoe's owners had her to participate in the International Canine Competition, taking place in Paris. However, they got sick before the event, so they asked Roger to invite Blythe to chaperone her.

While heading to the dog show grounds, Zoe met Philippe, a local street mime French Spaniel, whom Zoe fell in love with. He eventually distracted Zoe from the competition and she had an argument with her fellow model competitor, Madame Pom.

Touring around the city with Emma, Blythe bought fabrics she could use for her pet expo designs, and clothes including doggie sweaters and mongoose booties.

At home, the pets imagined what the city would be like. They sang a song describing it, with foods like souffle, baguettes and cheeses, pieces of art in the Louvre including Mona Lisa, artists like Picasso and Van Gogh, and a romantic atmosphere.

In the short Where'd the Escargot?, Penny Ling and Vinnie have a fantasy of being there, having lunch at a café. Penny Ling gazes at the city's landmarks and gives information about them, such as the Eiffel Tower having been erected in 1889 for the Paris Exposition. The pets are shocked to find out that snails are a local dish.
